QUALITY CONTROL

ALPACASA extracts representative samples of each batch produced. These samples are properly stored in the company for a period of two years.
Analyses for the essential oils batches are carried out in our lab through Gas Chromatography.
For organic seeds, samples are sent to European and US laboratories approved by our customers.
This practice allows us to obtain reliable results that are reflected in the quality certificates issued by ALPACASA.

PRODUCTION

Our production facility is located in Jejui, Department of San Pedro, 225 km north of the city of Asuncion. It includes:
• Three distillation units made entirely of stainless steel.
• An organic and conventional seed processing plant.
• A pressed briquettes unit with three biomass crushers.

Each family of products has its own independent warehouse of raw material and finished products, which are properly separated avoiding any type of cross-contamination.

Each production area is monitored by the quality control team.

CERTIFICATIONS

The production, administrative, finance, commercial, quality control and storage areas, are certified by ISO 9001: 2015.
Seed production and storage areas, are certified under the International Standard HACCP.
Essential oils and seeds are KOSHER certified.
The chia and sesame processing and storage areas are organic certified by BCS according to international standards (JAS, USDA & EU).
